Interesting...I have used the word “clan” referencing family...never even thought about KKK
I use the word “clan” with my own family - but publicly do not refer to my relatives as my “clan” - as my grandfather did.
Too many workplace idiots would immediately assume I was a member of the KKK and report as such to HR.
