Facebook is the worst. I see ads all the time for 1 oz silver coins for $17.99 when silver is $39.00 an ounce. Obviously fake. All the coin dealers say they get brought fakes every single day and most come from China.
If you are buying gold or silver and the seller is from China, it is 100% fake.
On eBay, I set my settings to exclude China & typically I buy from legitimate sources like Pinehurst. They’re shipping on eBay is typically included & cheaper then buying off their website.
