In our area I have not seen a “classic” black family—father, mother, children out together shopping or eating at a restaurant or attending a public event anywhere—for decades.
I am sure they exist somewhere—just never see them...
Except on advertisements.
I see nice church going black families all the time in my Texas town.
But where I live might be the exception; people here seem to get along
My next door neighbor is a black working family, father, mother, son, visited by four grandparents.
The average price of a home on our single entry cul de sac with 100 houses is about $450K, nice but not any thing too high.
I'm not saying this is the norm across the country, but in a safe western PA small town, it is very common.
When I go into Pittsburgh, I carry two guns, but then I always have two guns, no matter where I go.
