The Left continues to be cagey on the definition of ‘mass shooting’. In my humble opinion, there are actually 3 different types of these events:
1. Many victims, but one or two of them are the main targets (usually either gang or jilted-lover situations)
2. Outright terrorism.
3. Mental illness driven (like yesterday: I’m sick and mad at the world, so before I take myself out, I’m bringing along everyone I can).
I’ll leave the fact-checking to others.
This nonsense deserves neither credence nor credibility.
I assume we are talking about hood rats in Americas shitholes when we speak of “mass shootings”. Now do a recent list of mass killings.
So why if a man is a man is a man, then why add this cis thing? The sickos have to ruin everything.
I’ve met 4 trannies in my life. All but one through work. All of the had noticeable mental instability before discovering they where trans. After deluding themselves into thinking the were women, they all still had mental issues. Only their costume changed.
“Mass shootings” seems to fall into two groups:
Shootings at a block party or similar gathering of adults. The shooters are typically gang members or conventional criminals. Typical causes: disputes over respect or women.
Shootings at a school. In recent years the shooters are young people with mental problems manifested in transsexualism. Typical causes: resentment/extreme frustration with life; untreated psychosis.
CONTROL THE LANGUAGE/VOCABULARY AND YOU CONTROL THE SHEEP...AND WE’RE BECOME SHEEP
A list of perpetrators in four MASS MURDERS in the U.S. who identified as transgender or non-binary represent the minority of suspects in MASS MURDERS, but users online are sharing the list without this context. Data collection on MASS MURDERS varies by methodology, but experts told Reuters data shows the majority of MASS MURDERS are carried out by cisgender men.
Cisgender refers to people who identify as the sex assigned to them at birth, while transgender is an umbrella term for those who do not, and non-binary is for those who do not identify exclusively as a man or woman, according to the Human Rights Campaign (here).
One tweet said: “The Colorado Springs MURDERER identified as non binary. The Denver MURDERER identified as trans. The Aberdeen MURDERER identified as trans. The Nashville MURDERER identified as trans. One thing is VERY clear: the modern trans movement is radicalizing activists into terrorists” (here). Another example can be seen (here). Other posts with similar language can be seen (here).
LIST OF PERPETRATORS
The posts mention a “Nashville MASS MURDERER,” which appears to reference the recent school MASS MURDERS at a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 27, where the suspect, identified as Audrey Elizabeth Hale by police, reportedly identified as transgender (here).
The “Colorado Springs MASS MURDERER” refers to Anderson Lee Aldrich, who is accused of a killing five people at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in November 2022, and whose lawyers have asserted identifies as non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns (here). (Skepticism over Aldrich’s assertion has since arisen, with extremism experts and people who knew the MURDERER weighing in, more on that here ).
The “Denver MURDERER” in the posts refers to a MASS MURDER at a charter school in Denver, Colorado, in May 2019. Alec McKinney, a transgender teenager, was sentenced to life in prison following the shooting, Reuters reported at the time.
The “Aberdeen MURDERER” appears to reference Snochia Moseley, the suspect of a shooting at a Rite Aid Corp facility in Aberdeen, Maryland (here). Some news reports said Moseley identified as transgender (bit.ly/3ZpwMMQ), (bit.ly/3LX7DWF).
NOT THE MAJORITY
Calculating exact percentages when it comes to mass shooting statistics in the U.S. varies by way of counting, as organizations define MASS MURDERS in different ways.
A spokesperson for The Violence Project, which records data on MASS MURDERS in the U.S. since 1966 with “four or more” people MURDERED in public (here), told Reuters via email that “Nashville is the first case of a trans” perpetrator in their database and per their methodology. They sent Reuters a database of MASS MURDERS with 190 entries.
The Gun Violence Archive, which began collecting data on gun violence in the U.S. in 2013 (here), (here), recorded more than 4,400 MASS MURDERS in the last decade, Executive Director Mark Bryant told Reuters via email. Its definition of mass shooting is four or more people shot resulting in injury or death (excluding the perpetrator).
Of those, “the number of known suspects in MASS MURDERS which are trans is under 10 for the last decade,” which translated to “1:880 [or 0.11%] of the 4,400 MASS MURDERS” they recorded, he said.
Further, the U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC), which studies all forms of targeted violence including mass casualty attacks, published a report with data from 2016 to 2020 (here).
The report examined 173 attacks in the U.S. that “that resulted in harm to three or more individuals in public locations,” Justine Whelan, press secretary for the U.S. Secret Service, told Reuters via email, and “three MURDERS (2%) were transgender, assigned female at birth, but were known to identify as male at the time of their attacks.”
Whelan said that consistent with previous analyses of mass attacks, “nearly all of the attackers,” or 96%, in the study were male, and the remaining five attackers were female.
In terms of the gender breakdown, the Violence Project also found that 168 (97.7%) of mass MURDERERS in their database up to March 2021 were men (scroll to “explore the MURDERERS” section, select gender “female” box among selections)
Reuters reported on studies in mid-2022 that found about 0.5% of U.S. adults identify as transgender, and about 1.3% of 13 to 17-year-olds (here).
VERDICT
Missing context. Most MASS MURDERS or violent gun attacks in the U.S. carried are out by cisgender men.
Pretty much.
It's a term used to muddy the waters and cause confusion.
When you see "cis man" or "cis woman" immediately drop the cis and change it to MAN and WOMAN.
If you're in a argument with someone using "cis" just keep saying, "you mean NORMAL".
Stopped reading at ‘cis’
I wish Americans still spoke English. I really miss knowing what people are saying.
So what, trans murderers are a growing problem. Maybe celebrating mental illness and encouraging it, instead of treating it isn’t a good idea...
If you narrow the stat to “shooting up Christian children” then no, it isn’t non-trans men (I’m not going to “cis”) doing it.
“mass shooting” is too general - it includes gang related events.
Heterosexual. They love to use that term as a way to insult normal people.
Sounds like more Gibberish
Sounds like more Goebbelrish.
Reuter's "fact checking staff" is covering up the facts.
O.K. but what color are they?
Transexuals crave the attention and feeling of being special. So give them all the attention and special help they need, in an institution.
This kind of reporting has become a parody and nearly all of us have been sucked into it.
It’s simple really...when a person goes to the gun range for some target practice, he is a “SHOOTER”.
When a person, without legal or moral justification, kills another person with a gun, he is a MURDERER. It even “feels” different when you read it.
Language makes a difference. Control the language and you control the culture.
