Kim received an alert on her phone that someone was at her front door. To her surprise, it was a SWAT team with their armored vehicle, about to break down her front door and ransack her home.
Eventually, detectives with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department realized they had arrived at least 5 years too late to find their suspect. Leaving behind over 20 grand worth of damage to Kim's home, they offered no explanation, no apology, and refused to pay for the damage they caused.

It’s called due diligence the cops are screwed having dicked around for 5years even a clueless lawyer could win this lawsuit.
Sue the officer who told you they would take care of it to get their attention.
Government must pay for this abuse.

Should have checked with the USPS for who is receiving mail and if the target stopped or forwarded mail…easy stuff.

I heard a women in Texas won such a case via the Institute for Justice (IIRC). It was presented as a ‘takings’ by the government and they had to pay for it, per the constitution.

Las Vegas - what are the odds on this type sh*t happening?
Why do they think they have to smash the doors and windows and overturn furniture and toss stuff from kitchen cabinets? I can find our cat anywhere in our house by opening closet doors and looking. I could for sure find a human hiding in my house.
This amount of damage is juveniles wrecking things because they can without repercussions.
Breaking and entering, felony destruction of property, violation of civil rights under color of law.
They need prison time, and restitution paid from their own personal funds.
