Lorde is such a bad influence
A tale as old as time.
My 15 yo grandson is madly in love with his first ever girlfriend of 3 weeks. It scares me what teenagers are capable of doing when Cupid shoots his arrow.
I watch a lot of True Crime shows.
It’s always The Cheerleader, it’s always The Cheerleader, it’s always The Cheerleader!
I really feel for this Mom who lost her son in such a senseless way. I hope they have a solid case going forward against The Cheerleader.
Of course one of the budding sociopaths filmed the whole thing
Was Ted Bundy a cheerleader?
ID Channel has a “Mean Girls” series. This story is like one you would see in that series.
I was so in love at 16 with a girl my heart hurt so bad when I found out it wasn’t reciprocal. Like a great big gaping hole in my chest.
Heh, when I went to my 50th high school reunion at the beginning of June, I found myself in a circle with three other guys who went through that with the same girl I did and had their hearts broken!
Sigh. If you told me I could go back and have my 16 year old body again, I would do it, but only if I could take my old man brain with me. Otherwise...I would have to pass!
Was the girl of your dreams there, and did you talk to her?
A hater of all things not socialist inspired.
She loved to talk about spending tax dollars on the homeless, druggies, and fringe children.
every retard should be able to go to Harvard type.
She hated that the south was never nuked and how uneducated southern states were..
me, born yankee, southern by choice
I was hoping as I read those words that you were going to say she showed up at the same reunion looking like Roseanne Barr. 😊
rlmorel: Heh, when I went to my 50th high school reunion at the beginning of June ...

Me: At my 50th (2022) the surprises were few, since we were a farm country small town school, with just 52 seniors (iirc). We have had reunions every 5 years, so seeing the changes (mostly weight gains) hasn’t been very startling.
The previous class was invited to our 50th, since in 2021 in Illinois fowchee flu fear was still keeping people from large gatherings. Seeing some of those people for the first time in 51 years was surprising. I recognized very few. What was comical, was seeing a former cheerleader from that class trying so very hard to look and dress like she was still young and trim. If she was wearing a corset, it still left her with the figure of a 55 gal drum.
The sad part is the reading of the names of the deceased classmates.
They walk among us. They are Legion.
That’s actually from a character in ‘Major Crimes’ who says, ‘It’s always the Husband! It’s always the Husband! It’s ALWAYS the Husband!’ every chance he gets. ;)
Beau comes from a rural class of 30-some kids, and that’s after combining TWO school districts! I come from a suburban class of 300+.
It simply astounds me how close they all still are. He goes to all of the reunions; after 15 years together I probably should go with him at least once just to prove that I really DO exist, LOL!
I graduated at 17 and could not WAIT to get the heck OUT of Dodge and ON with LIFE! All of the close friends that I still have today were made in my mid-20’s. (Army and civilian work-related people.)
If you have ten minutes to kill, the two videos are worth watching.
I turned 17 two months after graduation. Was glad to be done with high school. In the now 53 years I’ve missed 3 or 4 reunions.
My wife’s class of ‘75 Moline, IL had 916 kids! We went to the 5 and 15 year reunions. That’s it. She said just way too many strangers to bother with the crowds.
