A French social media influencer has died on camera during a two-week livestream marathon after months of being “humiliated and mistreated” for the entertainment of viewers.
Raphaël Graven, better known to his 500,000 subscribers as Jean Pormanove, died in his sleep on Monday during a broadcast on the website Kick.
The 46-year-old from Contes, north of Nice, is said to have suffered from a serious heart condition and had been broadcasting for more than 298 hours before his death
Videos seen by The Telegraph featuring Mr Graven with influencers Owen Cenazandotti, 26 – known as Naruto – and Safine Hamadi, 23 – alias Safi – apparently show him regularly being beaten, strangled, force-fed, doused in unpleasant liquids and targeted with a paintball gun.

I cannot possibly imagine the actual consent of the “influencer” was given.
Who the hell was he “influencing?”

Typical “influencer”: rip someone else off and call yourself original. Marina Abramović, 1979.

Satan was His copilot actually.
.
Oh Jesus ... it’s Time Good Lord.
I can’t imagine anyone of right mind who could watch this crap enough to be “influenced” to do anything but turn it off.
No safe word then, I guess.
“Worked himself into an early grave.”
“Who the hell was he “influencing?””
Amazing. Imagine the scene where he looks up from being strangled and says, “And now a word from our sponsor . . . don’t forget to click the subscribe button!”
What is the old saying about dying while doing something you love?
