What in the sam hill is non-binary?

Binary means of-two; a binary star system has two stars, binary computer language is ones and zeros.

So non-binary would mean not-of-two. In reference to sex, non-binary (or unary) would mean only male or female. Binary is male AND female.

Talking sex chromosomes, you could say females are non-binary, as they only make use of the 'X'. Males would be binary, having 'X' and 'Y'.

I don’t know if I believe this article. I’ve met quite a lot of people, school, military, working corporate AV. Met a couple thousand people probably across all of that, likely 6-700 that I got to know decently well.

I know quite few that decided to go gay, but only one single person that went full-blown transvestite. Anecdotally, that’s 0.17%, not 1.5%
