Justice Department has turned up the heat on her, pursuing probes scrutinizing her office and personal real estate in an escalation of . . .

. . . evidence of her absolutely shameless corruption, both legal and financial, perhaps?

Letitia James used Donald Trump and his business dealings as a key issue in her successful campaigns for New York Attorney General in both 2018 and 2022.

Her 2018 election
In her initial campaign, James was explicit in her intent to investigate Trump. She publicly stated her belief that Trump was an “illegitimate president” and an “embarrassment,” and promised to “follow his money”.

James also vowed to “shine a bright light into every dark corner of his real estate dealings” during her victory speech in November 2018.

Trump and his lawyers later cited these campaign comments as evidence of political bias, claiming James was engaged in a “witch hunt” against him.

Her 2022 election
By the time of her 2022 reelection campaign, James’s office had already filed a high-profile civil fraud lawsuit against Trump, the Trump Organization, and his children.
The lawsuit, which accused Trump of inflating his assets to defraud lenders, was a central part of her campaign and public profile.

Even during the civil trial that followed, James continued to publicly comment on the case, with Trump and his lawyers claiming it was politically motivated.

While James’s campaigns focused on a range of issues, her repeated and very public focus on investigating and litigating against Donald Trump and his business was a defining element of her candidacies. This strategy appealed to voters opposed to Trump and helped secure her victories for the Attorney General position.

James is among Trump’s most prominent persecutors, who used the power of her office to attempt to destroy and innocent man. She almost succeeded, but didn’t.

FAFO, bitch.

“I do think it’s clear that this is retribution,” said Catherine Christian, a veteran New York trial lawyer who has closely followed the case. “This is like, ‘I’m paying you back for what you did to me,’” she said.

How is it "retribution" when "nobody is above the law?"

What this trial lawyer is actually saying is that if you are guilty of a crime it's best to hit your enemy first with similar charges.

This will inoculate yourself because if your enemy comes back at you with indictments for your crime, you can claim "retaliation" and try to pressure the other side the drop the case against you.

So Catherine feels it is okay for a person to engage in mortgage fraud without consequence provided that person is also able to wrongfully convict another of same.

Maybe Catherine feels it is okay as long as it is a black woman who is also a heavyweight.

Do the Democrat crybullies and their media toadies think people are stupid? Do they think they’re fooling anyone with this victim routine?

They’re like Hamas committing the Oct. 7 atrocities and then crying victim when the true victim hits back in righteous anger. It’s EXACTLY the same.

Sorry Dims, but the kids on the playground are looking forward to the bully (hint: that’s you) getting a well deserved fat lip.

How long does it take to go into a bank file and read the docs on a mortgage? Two forensic accountants could have a report on Tish finished in 48 hrs.

Some people slow-walking this thing.

“This is like, ‘I’m paying you back for what you did to me,’” (James) said.
~~~~~
But somehow James’ malicious prosecution of Trump had nothing to do with Trump being the favored Republican presidential candidate?
Letitia, Stick that where the sun doesn’t shine. You picked this fight.
