Russia bombs US factory in one of war’s largest attacks

Russia struck an American business with cruise missiles overnight in one of the largest aerial attacks of the war so far, Ukraine has said.

The Ukrainian air force said some 574 drones and 40 missiles were fired overnight, primarily targeting western regions of the country – far from the battlefield’s front line in the east and south of the country.

The strikes killed one person and injured 15 more and struck a “major American electronics manufacturer”, according to Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine’s foreign minister.

Video footage showed a large fire at the premises of Flex Ltd, a multinational firm headquartered in Texas.

The company manufactures electronic goods including games consoles, laptops and control units for cars and other vehicles.

Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the proposal as “historic” but stressed that any guarantee must be practical and effective in defending Ukraine across land, air, and sea.

Russia can muster 650,000 troops. European nation of the "willing" can provide a fraction of soldiers that Russia can field. A British plan reported in February 2025 suggested sending 30,000 European troops to police a ceasefire, guarding cities, ports.

Russia’s GDP has increased, manufacturing increased, etc, ….everyone knows the Sanctions have been a failure.

And how's Russia's GDP looking if you subtract out government spending? How much has Russian manufacturing decreased if you remove war-materiel? Russia only looks good because of government war spending that happens to boost those numbers. Not because their economy is actually doing good.

European nation of the "willing" can provide a fraction of soldiers that Russia can field.

And yet neither of them have the logistical capability to support a sizeable number of soldiers very far outside of their borders. Russia has trouble a mere 100 miles past the gate. Their Middle East support, Europe would have died of starvation or lack of water if these US wasn't providing the beans. At best I'd guess that on their own, the Euros could push their 40,000 a little further than Russia's 650,000 but not much. Maybe 200 miles past their borders.

When the War started 3 1/2 years ago, they should have found a neighboring
Country to move to.
Especially if they were a CIA Front Business making some type of Military
Hardware for the Yooks.
