Yes, our first "You Are Lookin' Live" for the 2025/26 college football season. Usually, Week 0 are more for the sicko gamblers but there is a Top 25 Big 12 = 16 conference game in Dublin, Ireland between Iowa State and Kansas State. Farmageddon features two great QBs in Avery Johnson for KSU and Rocco Becht for ISU. The Wildcats are a 3 point favorite over the Cyclones. Farmageddon kicks off at noon Eastern time on ESPN.

Every Saturday there will be a couple of good games to watch as well as a must-see one. Problem-why can’t they spread more of these good/must-see games between Tuesday and Thursday nites?

Getting more difficult to get excited over college sports in general and college football in specific.

I have no clue to which teams are in which conference.

The expanded college football playoffs left me wanting and now there is talk of further expansion.

In a strange way I like the new transfer rules and the portal.

A top ten school can no longer stockpile QB’s and have a back-up that is better than the top 20 through 10 team’s starters.

I’ll be watching, but I suspect I’ll be watching less.

So who are the two unlucky teams that will get stuck with Beth Mowins announcing their game?
