Medicaid originated as a provider of basic care for the truly indigent.
But now, almost everybody is eligible.
Medicaid became quietly the version of European care.
Free healthcare for everybody.
So now you have to wait half a year for lifesaving surgery.
Hospital ER have half a day waiting period.
Need neurologist? Sorry, wait a year!
Need family doctor? Forget about it!
Lot of people, who do nothing, have a lot of time, and have free Medicaid just go to see doc for every scratchy throat, or just to have some friendly chat.
They are, just like in Canada or Europe, clogging the system, so you have to wait in long line, even if you really need quick help, even if you are are dying!
My best friend died recently in ER after waiting there for 8 hours!
That’s the real cost of Medicaid!
