This is an easy one... Stay away from AI and exercise your brain...

More than 7 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease—a figure expected to rise as life expectancies increase. To help accelerate progress, Bill Gates and a coalition of partners are backing a new A.I. competition designed to spur breakthroughs in Alzheimer’s and related dementia research. That doesn’t sound promising. :-[

I am sure they can come up with an AI that mimics someone with alzheimers.

I actually give the guy a tiny bit of credit for this effort.
It’s tiny, though.

Tackling Alzheimer’s is a matter of minimizing exposure to aluminum and fluorine. Both toxic and ubiquitous

What a dumbass.
Just give me the million$ and it will go away without big pharma (but it will never happen).
Alzheimer’s is a race to the bottom, enriching a handful.
Don’t contribute.

AI is not some super intelligence that has or can decipher the biochemistry of human thought. The brain is 90% phospholipids.Just how those fats churn in the cranium and create human thought and higher intellectual function is unknown. Modern science thus far has virtually no understanding just what biochemical reactions occur to create thought or behavior. Nor does science really know the real mechanism of drugs that modify or interact with those chemical actions. AI is only an accumulation and ordering of known science which is believed to be true. Until that biochemistry is understood, AI cannot find a cure . If humanity is fortunate an ethical empiricist may find some approach to Alzeimers long before the biochemistry of thought is truly understood and what actually goes wrong with dementia.

Just hand me the million. My results will be just as effective.

One Million dollars from Bill Gates???
That's the equivalent of me or you having a penny in our pocket and losing it... What a generous dude he is.
And it's all because his 94 year old father died from Alzheimer's... WTF?
