India has a blocked currency.

I believe India pays for Russian oil in rupees. I believe those rupees can only be used to buy Indian goods and services.

India does make CNC machine tools, but the Russians probably have all the CNC machine tools they need by now.

Denying the Russians cashews, iron pipe fittings, and software development services from India isn’t going to break Russia.

So what does Russia do with the Rupees? Since the currency isn't freely traded the Russians are stuck buying whatever they can from India with those Rupees?

Cheap energy and a buyer for all things made in India -I'd like that deal if I was India too.

For the rest of the world it might be time to cut off India until they stop otherwise they have no incentive not to.
