You’re wrong.
There are a lot of damaged people out there, and this homeowner is one of them.
Watch the video, the bus merely blocks his driveway for the few minutes of load/unload. Disabled kid gets wheeled down his own driveway and sprinklers are pointed at him where he gets to the bus. Kids dad is in swim clothes to block the sprinklers from hitting kid. Sprinklers are timed to be on only for duration of load/unload. Essentially this guy is watering the street specifically to harass disabled kid.
This is “Get Off My Lawn!” on steroids.
He’s a vile man since it is reportedly not the only people he uses it on.
Typical angry Rat voter.
The bus was infront of the dad’s house, the dad was wheeling the kids down their own driveway, they were not on his property at all. Only the front of the bus was temporarily blocking his driveway because the ramp is on the side of the bus.
Again, not on his property at all.
Video also shows this jerk pointed his directional sprinklers to spray the dad and kids as they are coming down their own driveway.
This guy is a creep.
It’s not that. What if the bus damaged his driveway with the ramp? His driveway is still private property.
Pick the kids up in front of the parents home.
The article says the wheelchair ramp touched this man’s driveway so how is this happening? How is the bus that freaking close? I’ve seen wheelchair ramps. That means they are suing this man’s house as the stop.
Maybe his house is on the main drive and the kids are on a parking court that is hard for the bus to navigate?
As the father of a disabled child, If I caught him hosing down my daughter I would hose him down too..
With a double-barreled shotgun.
“The father of the disabled kids should have called the local news station. They could have pressured the county to move the bus stop.”
Okay I’ll buy that answer. Both the father and the man who does not want the stop there should have pressured the media to get it moved.
I’ve watched several videos and both are unclear because they were shot from too far away.
Really the only solution is to move the stop on this one.
Someone here posted another video that I just watched and I saw the ramp/lift. It’s still a large metal contraption that comes down and sets on the ground. I can see where it might land on his driveway.
Seriously?
1) This is the bus stop because the children live next door to him.
2) There is no ramp on the ground; the ramp extends from the bus and is retracted after the kids are aboard. When the bus stops to pick up these students, I doubt the ramp touches his driveway, but the bus blocks his driveway probably.
Wow.
Just wow.
Why couldn’t his hateful ass call the the transportation department of the school district to ask them to move the stop.
But nope.
His vile behavior towards children who don’t understand why they are being bullied, is not to be applauded.
The fact that you think it’s ok to drench these kids twice a day is abhorrent.
Bless your heart.
You’re still saying bullying innocent children is ok.
You are in the wrong here.
From the video at #15 it looks like the ramp is connected to the bus and comes and goes with it.
Show us the photos of this so called damage that over rides the safety of those kids.
You’re on the losing side side here and you know it.
Take the L
If those are the facts, it’s no wonder he’s being criminally charged.
What a maroon. If he’s found guilty a very expensive civil suit could be incoming next and will likely bankrupt him. Stupid hurts.
Check out the video. The article was unclear and misrepresented the facts. Video clearly shows bus only partially blocking his driveway (while in the street) and the dad exiting his home and going down his driveway, not this guy’s driveway.
I get why people could side with this guy if the family was trespassing, but they weren’t.
