My sister had a gorgeous house on Long Island: formal living room, dining room, open floor plan, den, 3 full baths, 2 kitchens, 5 bedrooms with a stunning on-suite master, over half an acre of land, deck, pool, pergola, and 3 gardens. She worked insane hours to buy it, insane hours to build it out, and was finally able to stop working insane hours to enjoy it.
Then those scum-sucking piles of excrement moved into her town and started infiltrating the schools. She sold and moved to the Carolinas.
She has an equally gorgeous house, pool, 3 gardens, 2 kitchens, etc., just like her other home, but her property taxes are a fraction and no disgusting gangs.
So glad she got out.
