I live in Tennessee. I will never go anywhere West of Knoxville. Nashville and Memphis are lost. There is a death penalty in Tennessee...of sorts. In my neck of the woods...this sumbag would have been eliminated by the citizenry.

I live in rural NW Tennessee, and it's like Mayberry here. I was checking out of a Walmart in Union City a few months ago and asked the cashier/manager to hold my bag while I ran back to their bathroom. Her response .. "Oh, take your bag, we don't have any shoplifting around here."

The problem isn't the points on the compass where you live, it's city vs. rural.
