They also don’t want to talk about the more than 4,000 free black Americans who were slave OWNERS, nor the 300,000 WHITES (primarily Irish) who were enslaved by Britain in the Americas, nor American Indian tribes “stealing” land from each other and enslaving members of rival tribes, nor African tribes doing the same to their rivals, nor the present-day epidemic of Muslims enslaving sub-Saharan Africans, complete with chains and slave auctions, in the Sudan, nor Muslims enslaving white Europeans centuries ago, etc., etc., etc…..

America has NOTHING to apologize for, and black Americans need to get over their phony victim mentality, period. There is no culture on Earth that has not at some point in its history practiced slavery, including “the black community” themselves, as well as their African ancestors. I'm tired of that ancient, self-pitying, entitlement crap. I never lynched anybody and know no one who did. My first book report in high school was "Black Like Me" by John Howard Griffin. I even took heat for having black friends.
