Normally I don't read this merde even though I graduated from the place back in the mid '60s, but this is so egregious I thought I'd put it out for everyone to mock. He starts with a condescending, bombastic, onastic, auto-hagiography with multiple instances of the "humble brag" Just reading this "distinguiashed Bloomberg professor's" BS makes me want to get a petition to cut more funding. I couldn't help myself so I insered a few of my thoughts in magenta so they won't be confused for the magnificant Bloomber Professor's words.

When some funding for some research in a particular area is cut, that does not mean funding for similar research going on somewhere else is also cut. Often more than one academic research lab has multiple projects working on research for the same problem.
