There’s a difference between being stupid and wilfully stupid. There are tons of democrats out there who aren’t the mindless drones the party cultivates by the millions.

But political affiliation is supposed to represent your true beliefs. I’ve met Democrats (& Republicans) who simply are what they are because their parents/grandparents/etc., were D or R. If these people in Dem leadership are doing things contrary to your belief system, the best thing to do is to change parties, or at least become non-affiliated. It actually might be the best way to SAVE that party. Let it implode & become what it is...the Socialist Party. Then re-group with new leadership representing what it used to be.
