All women view men that way. Plenty of men say they will be more than ok with taking care of a woman and the bills, if she stays home and cooks, cleans, is pleasant to him, is modest, not spendy, is peaceful and not contentious, is there at home for kids. Been going on for thousands of years.
Conversely, no woman says they will be totally ok with taking care of a man and the bills, if he stays home and cooks, cleans, is calming, deals with her moods, fixes things, does yard stuff, dad stuff.
The double standards, they abound.
Women do look to men for finacial support more than vice versa, but both men and women look for emotional support in a relationship. My wife of several decades passed away in November, and I truly think we were more in love than ever in the end. But we did truly love one another, not that our marriage was without rough patches, but persistence, and allowance, and understanding was more than worth it.
