It's just more proof of how you are looking for any excuse to undermine peace in Ukraine, Marcus.

It was the Soviets that defeated the Nazis and they were are ALLIES during WW II.

I'm sure that is the point Lavrov was trying to get across.

But, you and many like you, apparently, wish the Nazis had won WW II and had managed to takeover Ukraine completely.

The Soviets were also Nazi allies, helping get the war going in the first place by invading Poland.
And they became the worst enemies of humanity before the war was even over, intent on absorbing, not liberating, eastern Europe.

They were at best a necessary evil, allied in name only, and then just temporarily.

Nobody owes them a thing. Not one thing.
