He stopped them by serving as mediator between belligerents getting signed agreement of terms.

Thats not to say clashes could not again erupt if the parties break their agreements

India-Pakistan: was escalating dangerously, 2 nuc powers. Pakistani Military Chief came to DC to announce Trump was being nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Iran-Israel: brokered a ceasefire. Unfortunately this one may go hot again if Iran resumes nuc weapons program.

Congo-Rwanda: this one was ugly and lasted decades, the leaders met and signed a Peace Accord in the WH.

Cambodia-Thailand : Trump used trade pressure on both to get a ceasefire. Formal Nobel nomination by Cambodia

Egypt-Ethiopia:

Azerbaijan-Armenia: leaders met and signed a peace deal in the WH, involving US leasing a land corridor allowing Azeris to connect with their enclave territory in Armenia
