A popular influencer couple known for sharing off-road travel adventures with their tens of thousands of followers have tragically died in a crash in the Canadian wilderness.
Stacey Tourout and Matthew Yeomans, who had amassed a global following via their Toyota World Runners YouTube and social media accounts, were killed in the off-road wreck in British Columbia last Thursday, relatives said.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the couple, who were originally from B.C., were filming at the time of the fatal wreck.
The exact cause of the accident is under investigation but authorities suspect they lost control on rough terrain.
Mark Jennings-Bates, a manager with Kaslo Search and Rescue, told CBC crews had a precise location for the couple when the emergency call first came in at about 7:30 p.m.

Off-road can be fun but it is also dangerous.
I had one in-law paralyzed for life from a 4 wheeler crash.
Wife got a concussion in another crash.
Ex boss drove a 4 wheeler off a cliff.
I road 4 wheelers for 10 years over rough mountain terrain. Only one I know who didn’t flip one.
We’ve been getting into overlanding over the last year or two. It can become a lifestyle.
We watch several YouTubers. Even passed a YouTuber on the freeway in Kansas two weeks ago on our way to an adventure.
I didn’t know of this couple but they sound like they were well known.
We’re on the fringes of the overlanding community. We drive a F-150 not a super tricked out Jeep Gladiator or Toyota Tacoma.
Guessing they rolled off a shelf road or a cliff.
it’s all fun and games til someone loses ....... their life.
This will be their most-watched video ever!
In hindsight, maybe they should not have brought their cat Toonces on that trip.
Hold my beer, eh!
They were doing what they loved. I hate it for them but before people jump in and say they were reckless and did it to themselves.
Maybe so, but I lost a co-worker two weeks ago who was just driving to the store. Sometimes your time is up, no matter what you do.
Influencer, transgender.. what’s the difference?
They died doing what they loved...
Good thing they weren’t walking through a forest. Canada can fine you $28,000 for walking through a forest now.
