It’s a bit of a side point, but the Brits got it right there. Our insistence on a unanimous verdict assume that all people are sane and logical. They are not.
Yeah, I know. “Twelve Angry Men”, and all that. So maybe a unanimous verdict is needed during the first week of deliberations. Then maybe 11-1.
A superb motion picture. The one or two (or three) instances of juror misconduct tarnish it a bit, but that sort of thing probably happens all the time.
