“creating a sales tax on 2 of the biggest semi companies in the country !”
Peterbilt and Kenworth? I think it’s kind of unfair to single them out.
“AI will both continuously improve a machine or tool and constantly improve the manufacturing process by which the machine or tool is created.”

As an aside AI will improve many non-manufacturing processes as well.
Glad there is finally a tax communists don’t love.
It’s not a tax on anyone. It’s a fee on trade for a company. If any company tries to pass on a 50% cost, assuming they are not a monopoly, they’ll go out of business. Tariffs are not the same globally so that alone means another company in another part of the world can quickly find a way to under cut them. On top of that, a tariff while Trump is in office comes fully equipped with Trump pointing a gun at their heads saying things could always get worst for you. On top of that Trump is radically cutting back on regulations and giving ridiculously generous incentives for companies to build within the borders. What are economists not doing? Looking at anything beyond the word tariff. They are completely ignoring, enforcement, incentives and the fact that Trump is President and willing to use the full force of his authority. Would this work the same way if Bush, Biden, Obama, Vance were in power. No. How you use power matters. If Trump has proven anything he has proven that.
Don’t care about ethics and morals. We should care about survival against the tide. Ethics and morals have gotten us into this illegal mess.
You are probably correct in your assessment. Tigers don’t change their stripes, unless they are saved by grace.
He has ethics/morality? Doesn't look like it.
Thanks for that, far outside my scope, but I will watch for that.
Thanks for the explanation
Post of the Month!!
We should because I don’t really believe him. Its just whatever’s best for him at the moment.
Call me a fool, please. If you charge me to buy from me then I will charge you to buy from me. Yep, it does sound foolish.
In addition to the government’s recent interests in MP Materials and U.S. Steel, according to Bloomberg the Trump administration is now talking with Intel about the US government potentially take a stake in that company. Not exactly something that one would normally associate with free market capitalism. Just saying.
