I’ve known people who’ve done a similar thing, i.e., have ones contact for far vision, and one for reading. I tried that, but couldn’t get my brain to cooperate.
When my aunt had cataract surgery, she had one IOL for far and one for reading.
I have this naturally after the age of 55 or so. It is called monovision. One eye has always been near sighted. Age gave me the far sighted part. I love it. No glasses or contacts needed.
