I’m sympathetic that they’re blind but they’re not deaf. They should’ve heard the gate change announcement and although I don’t know the layout of the airport for certain, I’m pretty sure B6 is right next to B4 and they should’ve heard the gate attendant announce the boarding for their flight.
That said - they flew the plane back to GET them instead of bumping them to the next day!
They were never left behind by their flight...
“That said - they flew the plane back to GET them instead of bumping them to the next day!”
They boarded their original flight.
I am hearing impaired. Trying to make sense of airport announcements is an effort in futility. Even my wife, who hears everything, has difficulty.
Airlines just don’t care any more. Southwest, in particular, ends their unaccompanied minor program at 11 years old and expects a 12 year old to fend for themselves on cross country travel.
