Hundreds of National Guard troops were expected to flood the streets of Washington DC as President Donald Trump threatens a federal takeover of the capital.
The move came as Trump blasted the crime and homelessness in DC while deploying 120 FBI agents to work alongside D.C. police and other federal law enforcement officers in the nation's capital.
'The Homeless have to move out, IMMEDIATELY. We will give you places to stay, but FAR from the Capital,' Trump posted on Truth Social. 'The Criminals, you don't have to move out. We're going to put you in jail where you belong,'
'Be prepared! There will be no "MR. NICE GUY." We want our Capital BACK.'
The president has likened his plans for D.C. as similar to his administration's aggressive crackdown against illegal immigration at the southern border.
He plans to hold a press conference on the issue at The White House on Monday.
'I'm going to make our Capital safer and more beautiful than it ever was before,' he said while pledging to 'immediately clear out the city's homeless population and take swift action against crime.'
'It's all going to happen very fast, just like the Border,' Trump posted.
Two U.S. officials told Reuters on Sunday that the US military was preparing for the activation of hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington, D.C.
The officials said a final decision was still to be made by Trump but the troops were prepared to deploy.

I’ve effortlessly, quickly, assembled a group of about 40 families who do not match your analysis.
Nothing is more right wing than acknowledging it failing culture and world cohesion overall.
These are the end times. Evil is winning. It’s time for God to snap his fingers and win this war in a decisive manner. It’s time for it sun to micronova and reset the entire human race.

I don’t EVER remember seeing “Homeless” people(except in 1968 CALIFORNIA) before the mental hospitals were closed down in the early 1970s and Vagrancy Laws done away with about the same time.
When that happened our local big city library was over run with bums sleeping off their drunks taking up all the good lounge chairs and couches in nice air conditioned comfort.
That library had to close for a while due to an infestation of BED BUGS brought in by the bums.
A little grab of the serpent’s tail is needed.
In America and the Church it represents on the nations level.
A little transformation from lawlessness and disorder and just us to law, order and justice will do quite a bit of good at beating back evil..
America and the Church has the same serpent problem, so which gets transformed back first, will be interesting.
I’m guessing America because of its current war time President who’s been at war with this nation’s hive of scum and villainy since he came down an escalator.
I wish President Trump well, but my faith in salvation is in God. I hope Trump has our back but I KNOW God does.
Being a nation that began with 13 Colonies, as Christ began with Him and His 12, is a Divinely Providential nation.
Having that nation grow to 50 states as His New Covenant Church grew at 50 days, is more evidence of a Divinely Providential nation..
America and the Church need to be tracking the same way.
They will for better or worse.
For unbelieving Israel’s sake, let’s hope both get their serpent tails grabbed and transform back into proper staffs.
