Injury? No.
But she's being targeted. So she may call it quits.

It would also mean giving up a lot of money. She may only get $76M/year for playing in the WNBA, but she might as well play for free. All her endorsements are predicated on her playing.
Not the least, she has a desire to play basketball, so she strongly wants to play.
If it were a mostly white league and a black person was done this way, the Ambulance Chasers would be chartering busses to the games, to prepare their lawsuits.
