Believe that’s why Putin is so brutal.
And I couldn’t be happier about shutting the spout on Ukraine.
Vodka.
Yes but one must consider the era.
Putin's father arrived with male friends when Maria - known as Marusya - was home alone in her village in Tver region in 1928. 'Marusya didn't want to let them in,' said an account by villager Anfisa Kormilitsyna. This apparently enraged Putin's father.
Very likely could be that he and his companions were part of a Komsomol unit taking part in the Red Terror the girl's resistance to letting them in was taken as counter-revolutionary.
Komsomol membership could also explain his other reported activities.
He was also reportedly a member of NKVD/SMERSH during the war whose actions were little different from that of the SS rear units operating in the Soviet Union.
“Vladimir Putin’s father gouged out his mother’s eye with a pitchfork, it was revealed.”
The propaganda machine revs up. EU doesn’t want this war to end.
When Putin was in the KGB he did a lot worse many times like father like son.
No wonder Putin’s such a nutcase!
Heavy drinking and incessant suicidal ideation going on across Zeeper World™ today!

You are projecting, you imbecile. Jim Robinson should delete you for vomiting all over Free Republic, with your loony-toon musings.
Speaking of imbeciles, SLOBBO URCRAYKNEE, Dennis!
Young Putin. His suppressed angst already apparent.
Long ago, I had and aunt who, when we would drive past a wino collapsed on the sidewalk, would say, "Just think—he started out as a sweet little baby."
Bad seeds look at the start but time tells the truth.
Translation please.
Your stupid comment has me rolling with laughter! SLOBBO URCRAYKNEE, FRiend! Bwahahahaha!!!
Sigmund Freud lives among the Zeepers! Who knew?
Wow, you express such prejudicial “insight” from a photo. That’s no different from the Nazis and racists who could tell all sorts of “truths” just by looking at a picture of a Jew or a black man. It says much more about the critic than the subject of the photo.
Really hard hitting journalism, eh? Socci - it's Putin's favorite resort and people died there, see? Like Putin is implicated somehow.
All Ukrainian war articles he writes are noticably 'pro Ukraine'. This guy does NOT do unbiased journalism - why bother?
I can tell by your posts that you have a high IQ. So prove to me that this is not true >>>
“Vladimir Putin’s father gouged out his mother’s eye with a pitchfork, it was revealed.”
(I have not seen any denials from Putin)
In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Vladimir Putin’s brute father gouged out his mother’s eye with a pitchfork 'in a fit of rage', new book claims, dennisw wrote: I can tell by your posts that you have a high IQ. So prove to me that this is not true >>>

My IQ is average, and even I know the article you posted is irrelevant in the face of the death toll in Ukraine. I don't know if it's true - Putin doesn't have time in the day to refute all the lies about him. But your post is similar to 'Death at one of Putin's favorite resorts' in that it is slanted and not very newsworthy. I want the dying to stop - and here's this big story about what appears to be an accident decades ago. Just lurid content for the sake of lurid content. The title makes it seem like Putin's father ran at his mother with a pitchfork aimed at her eyes. Doesn't state that, but the style and tone make this seem malevolent. I think part of the story is missing, but I don't care enough to wonder beyond that.
I watched a similar style of trash on television one time - frequent announcements, "Death came to Hollister!" Images of motorcycles, as if they are inherently evil, ominous music, warnings that 'no one new death would come calling that day.' The 5 minute video segment ended without telling the viewer who died, how they died etc. Just that someone died in Hollister during a motorcycle club meetup.
It's possible no one has talked about injury to Putin's mother's eye in the news because it didn't matter, or because it's a false story, in which case it still doesn't matter.
Is it “critical” to interpret the body language or expression of an obviously worried child and to feel concern for him at a time in his life when he could have taken a different road? I don’t think so. Are you defending him from compassion?
