The left seems to have rejected everything that is true. They are largely atheists, so what would you really expect.

This is soooo wrong. The cop did nothing wrong...and there sure was no "intent"....

The Truth...Floyd was the bad guy...not the cop.

American’s still don’t get it - Obama, Holder and his DOJ put America through a 21st century, neo-marxist cultural revolution and struggle session

It had all the basic construct of Stalin or Mao’s cultural revolutions, just with a woke face and fewer killings

BLM were the red guards / street muscle. Racial justice was new proletariate seizing the means of production slogan. Controlled media was purposely focused on the “outrage” and violence to confuse average Americans. Chauvin was conveniently chosen as the face of the collective class enemy. And it was all approved from the top and politically protected by the KGB/Public Security / DOJ

His only hope is with the Federal courts. Not a single soul in Minnesota has the slightest intention of seeing justice done here. Saint George Floyd was a filthy worthless piece of excrement who found out too late that a mixture of a bad ticker...meth...fentanyl...and resisting arrest for a silly little crime usually leads to a very bad outcome.

Possibly Trump will spring him during his administration.

Hmm it is true he was absurdly overcharged. That said, l think “he did nothing wrong” is off the mark too.

Trump can only issue a pardon for federal crimes. Chauvin was convicted of state crimes. Only the governor can issue a pardon.

And of course there’s no chance of that

I was wondering that but of course if he does there will be a flurry of ‘racism’ and stuff from the left making him look like he favors killing blacks or something.

The left is despicable and it’s followers are fools.

What did he do wrong? He protected the public by restrained a crazy, drug-fueled animal.

Besides the race angle, Chauvin had one huge problem. The pictures of the arrest made him look bad. Very, very bad. For example, some kind of fluid was coming out of Floyd’s mouth after he went down. Yet Chauvin appeared to be unconcerned.

So many folks made their minds up early.

A competent jury should have been able to sift through all that. But not every jury is competent.

I think you are correct. That restraint technique is approved and was taught by the PD. But after a short period of time when the perp is subdued, you’re supposed to sit them up in a “relief” position. I think Chauvin’s mistake was that he didn’t do that.

Many people, myself included, like to prattle on about the importance of “the rule of law” and other such nostrums.

I don't prattle on about "the rule of law".

I watched Billary, Benedict Obama and Joe Bribe'em all skate.

I read the original autopsy early on. It was obvious Floyd dies of a drug overdose.

If the jury had been competent the BLM/Antifa mob would have burned them out of their houses. Egregious lack of change of venue.

The Chauvin case should have been moved out of Minneapolis. One prospective juror very candidly said he feared for his safety and that of his family if he served on the jury and the verdict didn’t satisfy the mob.

Elections is the only way out. The problem is, the conservatives are fleeing Minnesota in droves.

There is one gambit from Trump, and that is if he goes on national TV and tell Minnesota to fix it or lose all federal funding. There may be an opening after the Census is done.
