Russia invades Ukraine.

Ukraine refuses to surrender to the nice Russian soldiers.

Pro-Russians are indignant and call Ukraine a warmonger.

Same sticking points. If Ukraine cannot win these territories back by fighting for them, then how can there ever be a settlement? The war will go on, and Russia and Ukraine will continue to have their best killed, and Ukraine will still not be able to retake their territories. And Russia will take many deaths of their soldiers and months to get the next small city under their control...

The fix is to ceasefire now at the line of control.

Tell me what further use the military of either side will gain?

What the EU thinks is totally irrelevant.

Trump needs to tell Zelensky to take any deal he can work out or that he will cutoff all assistance to Ukraine and remove him from power.

It also says that territory can be exchanged only in a reciprocal manner

Kursk in 3 days!

Belgorod in 3 days!

including potential NATO membership for Ukraine

Call that the crux of the matter.

Or the hill that Putin is willing to die on.

Although Trump has changed his NATO tone by cozying up to that new guy in charge, I don't think this is the hill that Trump is willing to go on writing checks for.

On the call, Trump suggested that Russia would be ready to withdraw from the southern region of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson in exchange for full control of Donetsk. However, Witkoff walked back that claim the next day in a call with the chief aides of European leaders, suggesting that Russia would both withdraw and freeze the front line. On Friday, European officials demanded a third call with Witkoff to clarify the growing confusion about what Putin actually proposed. In that call, Witkoff clearly stated that the only offer on the table was for Ukraine to withdraw unilaterally from Donetsk in exchange for a cease-fire.

Trump has to ignore this expected bullcrap to negotiate a deal.Is anyone surprised that the little grifter turdling is trying to sabotage the meeting? Removing him could become the best option. soon the little grifter will demand the long dead temporary ceasefire(nonstarter). Let Trump do the negotiating, this could be good for both sides!

If Ukraine is neutral, then Belarus should also be neutral. If Russians can simply come right up to the Polish border in Belarus, then Ukraine is moot.

The Wall Street Journal is not a reputable news source. They could be making this all up.

It’s not “the European powers and Ukraine”.

It’s the CIA/MI6/Global Banks that are driving the non-Russian side of this conflict.

Folks need to rid themselves of the notion that the brave, underdog Ukrainians are standing up to the Big Bad Bolsheviks.

At its core, this conflict has always been a massive land grab attempt by the New World Order folks.

And the only person those guys hate more than Putin is President Trump.
