Is Europe going to stop buying Russian oil?
Russia invades Ukraine.
Ukraine refuses to surrender to the nice Russian soldiers.
Pro-Russians are indignant and call Ukraine a warmonger.
Same sticking points. If Ukraine cannot win these territories back by fighting for them, then how can there ever be a settlement? The war will go on, and Russia and Ukraine will continue to have their best killed, and Ukraine will still not be able to retake their territories. And Russia will take many deaths of their soldiers and months to get the next small city under their control...
The fix is to ceasefire now at the line of control.
Tell me what further use the military of either side will gain?
Trump needs to tell Zelensky to take any deal he can work out or that he will cutoff all assistance to Ukraine and remove him from power.
If the US didn’t over through Ukraine’s legally elected government there never would have been a war.
Putin and Russia are in a jam. The Russian people may revolt due to Putin having war with Ukraine and killing millions of his soldiers without land concessions. Russia is financially in trouble if Putin loses oil sales and the Russian people are aware of poor financial planning by Putin. Ukraine will not make land concessions and that may kill the deal next week. Putin brought this confrontation for nothing and has killed many of his important military advisers who have disagreed with him to save face. All bad judgement by Putin and the people know it.
Why do that? Why not tell Putin to take any deal he can get or remove him from power. Putin is ruining his country.

You are correct. The orange revolution in the Ukraine was in 2004-2005. George W Bush was president and Victoria Nuland was a front man for the revolution. She is truly evil. She had resigned before the revolution was complete but her fingerprints are all over it.

How much money has the US given to Putin? How much money has the US given to Zelinski? My memory is Biden daring, cajoling, pushing Putin over and over to start a war until finally he did just that. The Ukrainian people deserve a real honest, intelligent leader. The war will never end with Zelinski at lead IMO.
Trump has to ignore this expected bullcrap to negotiate a deal.Is anyone surprised that the little grifter turdling is trying to sabotage the meeting? Removing him could become the best option. soon the little grifter will demand the long dead temporary ceasefire(nonstarter). Let Trump do the negotiating, this could be good for both sides!
Kaliningrad would be a start for Crimea.
If Ukraine is neutral, then Belarus should also be neutral. If Russians can simply come right up to the Polish border in Belarus, then Ukraine is moot.
