But Obama got won for just being elected the first black POTUS. Surely, Trump can win one for actually bringing peace to the world! Negotiating with Putin isn't a normal business deal like Trump is good at negotiating, nor will Putin likely keep any deal he makes. IMHO, peace will come when Putin is forced off the world stage, which means a 1917 style Russian collapse from the stains of war.

I think there is more to this meeting than we think. Putin and Trump will talk for hours—goal of stopping the war will be met because the war is about done in any case. The fight is about gone from Ukraine and interest in supporting Ukraine is faltering in Europe. No, they will be talking of other things, Gaza and Israel, Trade, What Putin knows about Hillary, etc... It will look like Putin blinked and gave in but Russia will get all it wants in Ukraine but have to give up some land it took (very little). It will be, I believe, Very interesting. Will Trump get his Peace Prize—Nope even if he should.
