Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene "FURIOUS" with AIPAC and demands they register as foreign lobbyists!
X ^ | Aug 8 | @RepMTG

@RepMTG

Nuclear-armed Israel is not hurting, and they've already proven that they are more than capable of not only defending themselves, but annihilating their enemies to the point of genocide.

The reason why AIPAC is attacking me is because I dared to tell the truth.

We’re $37 TRILLION in debt. I’m fighting for America’s future generations.

AMERICA ONLY now.

Half the time, Israel’s supporters brag about what an “amazing success” Israel is, how it “made the desert bloom,” how brilliant and deadly are the IDF and Mossad.

The other half, they speak as if Israel is so needy and vulnerable that ending U.S. aid would doom it to another Holocaust.

__________

We the US taxpayer are paying for the Mossad and the IDF.
so the answer is possibly both

I wonder when the news is going to claim that Gaza is a concentration camp?

if the Mossad is so brilliant how did the Gazans organize a bunch of ultralights to shoot up a music festival coincidentally starting this whole thing

” Since the start of the war with Hamas in October 2023, the U.S. has provided at least $12.5 billion in direct military aid to Israel.”

Yes, since the start of the war created by Iran and Hamas we have provided that aid to Israel, just about the only true democracy in the Middle East and one of our strongest allies. So what???

We’d have TRILLIONS of wasteful domestic spending since Covid followed by Biden, which we have not yet pulled back.

“Greene has a point. Israel is an ally. So we should sell them what they need. But we are a debtor nation. So no gifts to Israel, or anyone else.”

Agreed.

If we’re going to be the World’s Biggest Arms Dealer, we should be well compensated for it. I’m all in favor of SELLING our gear to Israel ... maybe give them a discount for field testing it.

Oh, so now you also are in the camp that Israel is engaging in “genocide”?

AIPAC has long maintained that it represents American citizens who support a strong U.S.-Israel relationship—not the Israeli government itself. Its board, staff, and donors are overwhelmingly American. It receives no money from the Israeli state, nor does it operate under contractual instruction from any foreign authority. Point of fact, AIPAC while claiming to be bipartisan contributes more money to conservative candidates than to progressives.

Resources would be better directed investigating Chinese and Muslim Brotherhood related organizations and other communist, islamist and progressive lobbying groups and influencers. Why isn't CAIR FARA registered?

“And by now, Israel’s cumulative cost to the U.S. is in the trillions. “

Total B.S., and no surprise coming from the Left-leaning Christian Science Monitor.

Stauffer’s numbers on “cost of aid to Israel” are phony. Stauffer includes things like the U.S. domestic economic recession cost of the Arab oil embargo and the following increase in oil prices, U.S. aid to Egypt and Jordan after their peace treaties with Israel and other stupid items as if ought to be on Israel’s ledger.

That was not Stauffer’s only pro-Arab anti Israel screed.

I’ll stick with President Trump. You can vote for the Massie Greene ticket in 28.

Unlike congressman Greene's fellow antisemites lobbying for the Moslem countries, AIPAC does not accept foreign donations; therefore, they do not have to register as foreign agents.

Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene should know that. Or is Mary McCarthy correct when she said "antisemitism is the intellectualism of stupid people"?

...It is time for American Jews and their leading pro-Israel organizations, from the Conference of Presidents to AIPAC and AJC, to end their support and promotion of the two-state solution.

There doesn’t need to be a public reversal of the policy, but these organizations need to stop making statements supporting it...

Really. Remind me which team sports the official motto “From river to sea, Levant judenfrei”, or something to that effect?

I wouldn’t say they’re getting very far in that aspiration.

By accusing Israel of committing genocide, MTG completely destroyed any argument that she might have had, no matter how valid. That comment was not only gratuitous and unnecessary, it is blatantly false. It amazes me that this lady still has feet, she seems to shoot herself in the foot on a constant basis. She does have some good points occasionally, but she does not have a filter, and she desperately needs to install one.

“It’s thinking like Wuli’s that got us 40T in the hole:”\

No; it’s thinking like the Trump and Biden Covid hand outs - a giant part of which were unnecessary, and the trillions additional spent, and added to the budget, by Biden, plus the Obamacare subsidies, the Obama additions to Medicaid, the deficits in Medicare and Medicaid, the cost of HUD, Dep of Ed and bloated federal bureaucracy for decades, theft from Social Security - these are the kind of things that comprise most of our federal waste and debt, against which aid to Israel pales in comparison.
