summer i swim 3 days a week, in fall, winter and early spring I walk.

walking is not best, plenty of people walk too much, create tightness, to the point of tears, causing foot problems ankles, knees, hips. this 10K step thing is likely orchestrated by Orthopedics to get more business. People need variety of exercise or body usage to be healthfully fit.

I’ve never heard that about walking. Jogging yes, I’ve always considered jogging to be the biggest waste of time there is.

Anyone who intentionally exercises so much that it hurts, causes tears, causes problems for feet knees ankles is stupid.
I am not suggesting doing that. I am surprised “plenty of people” as you say do that.
