Your insignificant Ukies are just pawns in the great game and they will do what they are told whether they like it or not.

The past 3 1/2 years of Ukrainian resistance has shown that is not true. They are fighting for the mere existence as a nation. They will not surrender as easily as you think, or wish.

Such a backward and corrupt people who were stupid enough to allow the US to push them into war with Russia

The US did not push them into this war, the Russian invasion did. It truly amazes me how some try to shift the blame for this war from the Russians who invaded to the Ukrainians who are defending against that invasion. One suspects that they are not being honest.

I believe Zelinsky helped cover up Biden’s crimes in Ukraine

Biden took more money in bribes from the Moscow mayor’s wife than from Burisma.

Yup, "stupid" people of Ukraine wanting to be free and not under Putin's boot. Amazing FReepers are arguing this position.

“Russia’s conditions for agreeing to peace”

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/russia-confirms-putin-and-trump-will-meet-in-coming-days/ar-AA1K4O1H

Ukraine won’t agree to limiting troop numbers (or defensive equipment), signing over territory or handing over territory Russia doesn’t now possess.

Perhaps: This agreement for peace shall not diminish the territorial claims and rights of any party.

The Dancing Queen needs to shut his yap and focus on a peace agreement so his countrymen can start living normal lives again.

As in the Levant, neither side has entirely clean hands.

One set of hands belongs to a country where “might makes right” is a phrase taken very seriously.

The US proposal is definitely territorial concessions.

Ukraine’s refusal to accept this is not . . . Ukraine’s refusal. It is Zelensky’s refusal.

In the final analysis, he has no nukes so he has no say. Trump can install another government.

The EU is going to rage at all of this, but the Golden Rule asserts itself.

They’re all a bunch of lowlife scumbags.

All of them.

LONDON — The Kremlin on Thursday said Russia President Vladimir Putin agreed to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump, though a specific date or location has yet to be announced.

Putin adviser Yuri Ushakov said that a “meeting between Putin and Trump (will take place) in the coming days,” adding that “work on the summit has now begun,” the Kremlin says.

The Russians don’t want to give ground on issues R1, R2, and R3.

The Ukrainians don’t want to give ground on issues U1, U2, and U3.

However, if a draft agreement created by an independent third party simultaneously & reasonably deals with the issues outstanding, then both Russia and Ukraine might sign on.

Even those in Ukraine realize they will never get the Donbas back or Crimea. Two of the states were in rebellion against Kiev. I read that Russian real Estate people are moving into the Donbass, fixing up bombed out places and selling them to Russians as vacation homes. The guns are still firing and Russian capitalists are on the march. The land is lost. The war will be done soon, praise God! Blessed shall be the peacemakers! The it will be up to Trump to make the best deal possible for the People of Ukraine. If Trump can do this—he will deserve the Peace Prize!

Few Ukrainians would agree to territorial concessions. At best they’ll tolerate the de facto state of Russian occupation.

The Ukrainians are not going to simply hand over territory that would cost Putin 100,000 more dead soldiers to take by force of arms.

Vlad, what you want is simply lines on maps. The lives of Russian soldiers on Earth must take priority over lines on paper.

Ukraine had it made with abundant natural resources and an ideal situation sitting between East & West where they could collect $2 billion a year in transit fees for Russian oil and gas going to Europe. All they had to do was remain neutral.

But they were played by corrupt globalist forces and are now a welfare state reduced to begging for money. The US doesn’t just pay for their military they pay to run the government itself, pensions and everything else. The Ukrainian people have shown themselves to be too stupid to have their own country. What freedom do they have now? They will just be another economic dependency of the US and EU.

“Zelensky’s refusal.

Ukraine is probably the fourth largest arms producer in the world (after the US, Russia and China), has the toughest and largest all-European army, and the world’s most successful fundraiser.

That may not appease Putin. Even if it's a ceasefire.

I think Putin is stalling. So he can build more drones and missiles in his factories.

I think part of the negotiating should include both leaders resigning once the peace deal is signed. Both are guilty of murder and don’t belong running any country’s government. If you ask me Zelensky and Putin should be set in front of a firing squad of the victims families and let them shoot them full of lead!
