It’s what liberals do.

Tax everything to death, then wonder why there are no tourists..................

“Everything people love about Oregon is now being taxed and regulated.”

If you think about it, democrats can’t stand happy people.

They’re unhappy so they want everybody to be unhappy.....it’s a mental illness.

“ The permit could be a 7-day permit ($6) or annual permit ($20). See more here.

The agency says they must do this to educate and work against invasive species.”
****************************************************

That won’t yield nearly enough to deal with the state’s invasive illegal aliens.

Liberals wake up each morning stressed out and furious that someone, somehwere, is having a good time.

Big Government is your friend. Now hand over your money to your friend. Most Blues states have GoFundMeOrElse style governmental systems.

Greedy, grubby kotek retaliates after not getting it's
way on the transportation tax.

Grungy oregon liberals won't be happy until there are
no Oregonians with loose change in their pocket and
only dust in their wallet.

I'm sure everyone here has noticed how many of our freedoms have been taken from us, then sold back to us in the form of permits.

It’s been my experience that most democrats I’ve been around don’t know or believe in God.

“Tax everything to death, then wonder why there are no tourists.”

Tourists are not local voters, so . . .

That said, my main issue with these stupid taxes is not even the costs. It’s the hassle of find where and how to pay them. Or that you need to pay them.

California will be next - in fact, I’m surprised California wasn’t the first to tax bicycles and paddle boards.

They’re becoming desperate to tax everything - as their tax base flees- due to overtaxation.

It’s Oregon! How about skate boards and bicycles? They used the streets, why are they not required to license and register like everyone else?

This is a perfect example of the local fiefdoms attempting to shakedown the people for more money, to ensure their fat gold plated government pensions remain fat and intact.

I remember decades ago friends moving there and complaining about the “rain tax”. You paid a tax for every square foot of non-soil on your property.
