There is no housing crisis, you have a bunch of people with unrealistic aspirations of home ownership that cant hold a decent job. I've owned 4 homes. My first one was a 2 bed 1-1/2 bath in a small town. Not cheap, what we could afford on a nurses and mechanics salary.

With all the over time I could get. I never said " I dont want to work weekends and nights ".

Dump the " I dont wanna work too much attitude, do your kids a favor and make them clean the house, mow the lawn, pull weeds, wash the car, help change oil, a flat, vacuum the car, clean out the car, clean the gutters or at least hold the bag, take out the trash, help an elderly or disabled neighbor do the same. And dont pay them cash. Buy a pizza or whatever they like.

Doing good and work are a blessing, not the curse people think it is.

and limit the phone and video game time, it literally rots a person's brain. ( look at my posts!)

not a fan of the entitlement mindset, but housing prices vs. median income is historically bad. worse than the bubble years of the 2000s:
