Nate Morris also supported McConnell back in those days. So did President Trump himself - Trump enthusiastically introduced McConnell at a rally in Kentucky back in those days and the MAGA crowd cheered loudly. Time has changed - but apparently it was okay for Nate Morris to support McConnell back in those days, but not for anyone else.

Nate Morris claims he is now a Trump champion, but supported Nikki Haley in the 2024 primary.

Nate Morris also has been radical promoter of ESG, DEI, BLM, “white privilege sensitivity training”, creating employee groups for the trans, etc. Meanwhile, Daniel Cameron was actively and aggressively fighting all of those things - both as Attorney General and then also in his legal career post Attorney General heading anti-DEI, anti-ESG organization. Daniel Cameron has a consistent record on being a conservative - not just on paper, but in action and deed.

Daniel Cameron couldn’t win the governor race in Kentucky, even with McConnell’s support. To think now he can win the senate race is foolish.

Cameron owes McConnell for everything he has attained.
Cameron is not the conservative choice.

I agree on Cameron. He is a genuine conservative. I have no reason to consider him a McConnell “protege”.
