Can’t argue with that, save for 2 points:

1. It doesn’t create a pharmaceutical product to market,
2. It presumes that the “patient” has eliminated all other auses of inflammation (it’s a minefield for most people) and is therefore like bailing a leaky boat.

But kudos for pointing it out for those of us who didn’t consider the combination as a periodic therapy for “brain maintenance etc.”…and that includes me (LONG travel day yesterday).

There is considerable evidence that Alzheimer's, other forms of dementia, and many other diseases are essentially nutritional disorders. This helps to explain why the development of pharmaceutical drugs fails so often, working on well-fed rodents and healthy people but failing on the nutritional deficient patients they are supposed to help.

In addition to anti-inflammatory effects, magnesium also facilitates hundreds of enzymatic processes with wide effects in the body. In any event, inflammation is not always bad in that, properly directed, it helps to destroy pathogens and police aberrant and damaged cells.
