The problem with going cheap is that the place will get flooded with the amish....like what happened to carnival cruise line.
Vegas is now stuck in a catch-22...
Don't schedule your visit when there are Amish rap artists performing locally.
Does Bar Harbor have that stupid app parking requirement everywhere that York Beach recently installed?
Totally turned and pissed me off when I was there last month..
I lived in Vegas while writing slot machine software for Bally Gaming circa 2003-2004. I went back for the first time in a WHILE last year and was shocked to see the casinos charging for PARKING. And now all the shows are expensive, the food is expensive. It’s just not the same place as it was back in 2003. And, IMHO, things are much worse as a result of it.
😅 I see what you did there! 😁😏
They can just play Sinatra music. That would keep the Amish away
They can just play Sinatra music.
What the world needs now is a new Frank Sinatra...
“changing perceptions of America among international tourists. “... Used to say everybody love for America and now, a lot of them, they don’t,” he said.”
Or possibly international tourists are seeing U.S. thugs committing crimes and beating people on YouTube and other sites, like at the recent concert/beatdown in Cincinnati. In which case it wouldn’t be a lost “love for America” but avoidance of violence.
The players couldn’t get drinks!
“I leave for New York tomorrow, think about a price.”
Keep an eye out for Moe Greene.
“And a man in my position can’t afford to be made to look ridiculous!”
That was Woltz, his character in the movie was much more benign than in the original novel, he was a big-time pedo in the novel.
You can gamble at home without leaving the sofa now.
Or you can go to an Indian reservation or a riverboat, if there’s one nearby.
“They say the main revenue of casinos is from Asia and the middle east”
Yep my observations as well. Asians love their gambling and that observation was from a Vegas weekend 15 years ago and a visit to an Indian Casino a few years later. 40-50% of the crowd.
I get to my local So Cal Stator Bros market twice a week. At least one of those visits the same old timer Vietnamese guy is dropping $20 bills in the California Lottery scratcher machine. The Checkers know him by name.
“There’s nothing unique about Vegas. You’ll pay $100 just to eat ribeye steak and then you’ll have the privilege to gamble?”
Wondering if the those two trash Teams from Oakland, the A’s and Raiders are second guessing what city they moved to?
Here in Michigan, we have 26 land based casinos, with twenty-three being tribal.
Other than maybe the weather, there's no reason for gamblers to go to Vegas.
“Wondering if the those two trash Teams from Oakland, the A’s and Raiders are second guessing what city they moved to?”
the A’s haven’t got there yet. Maybe they’ll reconsider.
That’s not news and doesn’t explain the sudden decline in tourism.
You could gamble at home in 2015 and 2016 and 2017 and 2018 and 2019 and 2020 and 2021 and 2022 and 2023 and 2024.
Your observation does not explain a sudden decline in Vegas visitors.
