Not to mention all the Indian Supermarkets that are popping up like weeds here in Texas.
And now with AI threatening a lot of Techie jobs, what are all the Indians here going to do, when their jobs dry up?
Lots of major universities in the US are dependent on Indian international students. I mean “really” dependent. The universities charge them top dollar to attend, and then use those dollars to fund the rest of the university mission, which would probably not be able to float without the international dollars.
The majority of international students are Indian, used to be Chinese, but now are Indian. So, Pres Trump’s issues with India will likely have very large financial effect on university budgets too.
