I had to laugh when I read this. Really. Anyone who has ever listened to even a 30 second clip of his show understands it has had very little to do with rationality or reality, it was simply entertainment of the basest kind, practiced under the kind of freedom that conservative values protect.
It was targeted towards people who wanted to see authority ridiculed, there was no substance to it.
It is amusing to see him out there saying he doesn’t have respect for conservatives, when no thinking conservative ever had even the slightest respect for him in any way. Those of us who know who he is don’t even care what he thinks, that is how highly we value his intellect.
I never could stand his show even from the beginning. Obnoxious comes to mind
