Blackmail is very much the Mossad's style.
So is deception and spying on "friends."

but Mossad goes more into intelligence gathering (spying) and for enemies: booby-traps (as we’ve seen recently, ha!), and/or direct elimination strikes where the recipient is a direct danger and/or has already murdered Israeli citizens. Still, I agree that Ep could have been helping Mossad, yes it is possible. I just see it as a lot more likely to have been an internal USA “deep state” operation, there is an internal enemy in America and it has not hesitated to employ all sorts of tricks including blackmail, outright assasinations both domestically and in many foreign countries, various drug and torture methods, you name it we have guys busy doing it. As a second choice its a tossup between Communist China and Iran, imho. Both have designs on America and influence over USA politicos would fit right in as an early and helpful step for their attainment of same.
It is only all opinion, other than the facts that have been let out about how countries operate. I often end my little postings with a phrase like “we will see....” but sometimes we are not permitted to see.
