What if Indian law is changed so Indian H-1Bs in the USA have to go on strike?
Remember, these are supposed to be irreplaceable people, and in the short-term they are.
Boss, if I go back to India, I will get imprisoned. Are you able to get me assured permanent residence in the USA?
“They can do what’s in their best interest”
totally screw over the USA, China style.
Correct title - Russia to Offer Ukraine a Nothing Burger While Demanding Unacceptable Concessions from Ukraine
Your not wrong. Not sure how it’s going to go from here.
“I just wanted to know which side you support, America or Russia, which you answered.”
Stupidity will (almost) never have my support.
Stupidity and arrogance that results in the deaths of 300 Russians on average per day will not have my support.
Stupidity and arrogance that results in the deaths of 300 Ukrainians on average per day will not have my support.
Stupidity and arrogance that might crash the US stock market does not have my support.
“My country, right or wrong,” would not have changed the outcome of the Nuremburg trials.
Afghans, Iraqis and Vietnamese know the limits of American power. Americans should too.
We treated Germany and Japan fairly after WW2. It paid off well.
[posted by me some time back]
My suggested negotiating framework:
Step 1, Terms Written Up: Days 1-14
The Russians should be asked to type up a complete long-term peace proposal.
The Ukrainians should be asked to type up a complete long-term peace proposal.
Step 2, Disagreements Highlighted: Days 15-21
Each side should then be asked to state which provisions are not acceptable in writing, and why, and asked to write up alternative provisions.
Step 3, Attempted Resolution: Day 22-35
Attempts should then be made to piece together a deal, both by the parties involved, and by a United Nations committee (of say five people from say Mexico, Argentina, South Africa, Brazil, Switzerland), the Vatican, the US, Hungary, Turkey and maybe even Mexico.
Step 4, Proposal Selection: two days
There have been X peace proposals pieced together, please rank them, Ukraine and Russia.
The one with the highest combined score will then become the basis for negotiation.
Step 5, Revision Process: five days
Each side should again be asked to say which provisions are not acceptable and asked to come up with alternative terms, and any additional terms they feel are needed.
Step 6, Further Resolution Attempts: seven days
Further attempts should then be made to piece together a deal, both by the parties involved, and again by a United Nations committee of say five people from say Mexico, Argentina, South Africa, Brazil, Switzerland.
Steps 4, 5, 6 are repeated if needed until a deal is agreed to.
NOTE: With my framework, the parties at war write almost all the wording unilaterally in about two weeks. Third parties then pitch in to try to patch together rational deals. Once that is done, the warring parties are asked to negotiate over remaining differences.
Wow, you really are anti-America and pro-Russia.
Zelensky Again Urges Air Truce After “Massive” Russian Attack
The call from Zelensky to halt aerial bombardments on energy facilities builds on growing rhetoric from Kyiv, Washington and Moscow on halting the war, now in its fourth year.

NOTE: Many Ukrainians believe that drones are the only way to hold off the Russians.
Yawn…Stop being a Panican
What he said makes sense to me.
