Hey India. Ask your friends in Russia or get a scammer to help.

If enough are stupid enough to vote Democrat, the country deserves to go down the tubes.

Isn’t that your answer then? About 75% of high tech?

NeoCons generally supported the war in the Ukraine . Trump appears to be attempting to end it through non military means.
I doubt it will work but it’s fairly different from the usual NeoCon way of thinking

That would only be so if high tech is 100% H1Bs.

Folks need to understand that India’s population is X5 on the US, and that means their top 2% of IQ is 30some million people vs US 6 million. Population is not just a food drag. It is that plus, too.

They come to the US on an H1B, they create/grow the US high tech industry. Erase the H1Bs, erase Indians from US university student rolls (which means you also slash faculty positions they occupy) and you have a sharp downshift in US technology.

There are no US geniuses waiting to occupy jobs. Hell, if they are out of those jobs for just 1 month, they are obsolete, genius or not.

100% he will lose the current case before the 11 judge appeals group.

I counter that even the IQ spread of the top 2% of Indians is like the IQ of the top 20% of Americans. This is because India is a fundamentally low IQ country. They are simply not that smart, even the smartest among them. Perhaps you have to get to the 0.0001% among them to be smart enough to compete with an American genius.

Do remember, India ejected the Brits, successfully defeating them and responsible for ending of their Empire.

Well, this is Bell Curve territory.

ChatGPT just provided a solid layout with oddly both of us barking up the correct tree.

India is a lower IQ country at 85 average vs US 98 average (global 100). This would equate to only 988K Indians of IQ 130+ (top 2% global) and the US about 7 million.

But the H1B screen requires the Indian applicant to have a degree, typically STEM, and likely graduate degree in such. The American top 2% are not going to be concentrated in STEM, greatly lowering the 7 million number that would otherwise compete with the H1B for a STEM job.

GPT says the numbers of the two categories are roughly the same. The sheer 1.4B population advantage over the US and the H1B screen overwhelms the nearly 1 standard deviation raw IQ differential.

Interesting.

The Indian "low IQ" metric comes because of illiteracy. That is changing. There is a reason why hundreds of GCCs of western companies have been setup in India in the past few years. Even Japanese companies are coming to tap the Indian hi-tech workforce. H1B are more important to US companies than the Indian govt. Its only a small subsection of voters. They don't even remit as much money as the ones already citizens.

Would you be surprised that America still continues to import stuff from Russia which it cannot buy elsewhere - Uranium, Palladium, Fertlisers and some Chemicals.

It is mighty hypocritical of Trump to not stop these purchases and stop Europe from buying far more energy than India does. Even Japan imports some energy from Russia. And no mention of China which imports more than all the rest put together.

China must be thrilled. Trump is scared of Chinese retaliation. The Quad is over (almost). No one to challenge it in the South China Sea if Trump is so averse to war. 2 members of the Quad don't even have US ambassadors as yet.

We live in interesting times.

I can well remember our benighted society before we imported all those giant-brained Indians.

Making an attempt to end the war in ukraine through economic means isn’t hypocritical. Trump isn’t trying to destroy Russia or India. I don’t think the plan would work anyways but I don’t think it’s hypocritical to make an attempt.

Then Trump should stop China and the EU from buying Russian Oil and Gas first. India is only the third largest Russian customer

You go after the easier target and in this case it’s india. It’s not about trying to hurt any country out of spite.
