We’ve seen this before.

It’s a river of Psychomagnotheric Slime flowing through the abandoned New York Pneumatic Railroad.

Call The Ghostbusters!!!

125 feet deep is not deep. A water well drilling rig could tap into that to get samples. If there is any heat to it at all, it should affect surface temperatures and the vegetation.

I kinda think this is BS. More fake science.

The simulation also showed that the blob may have helped uplift the Appalachians, explaining why the mountain range remains so high despite significant erosion over the past 20 million years.

This is why they were probing the innards of the earth. It is a conundrum why the Appalachians are still standing and not eroded down to a nub.

“...125 feet deep. Ha, must just be some sewage....”

Yeah. The PIAPS is one nasty piece of it. The stench of stale urine and rotten cabbage are its classic trademarks....

They found that the primordial ooze was moving southwest at a clip of 12 miles every million years.

Fortunately, we don’t need to prepare for an a-blob-alypse anytime soon.

At this rate, researchers estimate that blob-zilla will reach NYC in 10 to 15 million years, like a very slow-moving B-movie monster — it takes a while for underground movements to make a splash in the Big Apple.

Yes, but in those B-movies the monster moving slowly through the woods and dragging one leg always catches the high school track star running away.

125 feet is nothing. Why aren’t they drilling into it?

It's not BS, in the sense that it was published in a large ragazine.

Well, not BS for the sake of BS... but why would they publish BS, now? How might this correlate with other stories like the out-of-solar-system alien craft coming to earth this fall? Is this a distraction from fill-in-the-blank (epstein, russia-russia-russia,...)?

Always look for the rumors behind the so-called news.

Pig In A Pant Suit: A derogatory slang term, primarily used in internet contexts, often associated with a specific political figure, as mentioned on Slang.org and All Acronyms. This is also unrelated to the song or the bat incident.
