I was diagnosed by the VA in 2020 and I’ve been on active surveillance ever since.. My Gleason score is a 3+4. Every six months I have a PSA test as well as either a MRI or biopsy. I’ve also had genetic testing twice (Prolaris) that predicted without treatment there is a 97.5 chance of remaining free of metastasizing.
If I were you, I’d get robotic surgery by a great urologic surgeon. My urologist at MD Anderson is just about the best in the world. Get a great surgeon and ED and urinary problems won’t be a problem.
